Jays Halladay may be pitcher best pitcher in baseball

Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Roy Halladay continues to dominate hitters in the American League this season. Halladay shut down the A's on Monday night allowing only one run in eight innings. With the 6 to 1 Blue Jay win. Halladay picked up his 13th victory of the season. The A's have lost 14 of their last 16 games.
Another blow to the Oakland offense comes with the news that third baseman Eric Chavez will have season-ending surgery to repair his right shoulder. Oakland is reeling out-of-control.
Mark Ellis was 1 for 3.
