A's have no luck in series ending with Twins

With the 3 to 1 loss on Wednesday, the A's dropped the third game of the Twins series and set the franchise record for 11 consecutive series losses. In all of baseball history, no Athletics team has suffered the number of series losses as this 2008 club. Manager Bob Geren, "Today was one of our better games. We played really good baseball today. We just got beat. ... Every day it's a different story. Today we just didn't get any breaks."
Mark Ellis was 1 for 4 with a walk and a run scored.
