The Chicago White Sox have been in first place in the American League Central most of the year. Pitcher John Danks will help keep them there with his superb pitching. Danks allowed only one run on six hits in six innings pitched for the White Sox win 2 to 1 on Saturday. Danks talked about his career success against Oakland, "I don't have any secret. I feel like I just have better games against them. I don't know why, because they're a tough team. I'll take it. It's always good to win here in Oakland. We haven't done that over the last few years."
Mark Ellis was 0 for 4 with a walk.
