The A's win, the A's win
The Oakland A's headed to Detroit to take on the Tigers Friday night. Lead by the great pitching of Dallas Braden and Brad Ziegler the A's picked up a much needed victory 4 to 2. Braden allowed only 2 runs in seven innings pitched and Ziegler extended his scoreless inning streak in the eighth and ninth and picked up the save. Ziegler streak is now at 37 innings without allowing a run to begin a career. Mark Ellis was 1 for 5 with an rbi in the game.
