Errorless streak ends for Ellis
A throwing error by Mark Ellis in the bottom of the third inning against the Boston Red Sox has snapped the A's second baseman 57 game errorless streak. It is the third error in 496 chances on the season and his fielding percentage is now at .994. Ellis continues to be the top fielding second baseman in the league. The Red Sox completed the sweep of the A's Sunday winning 5 to 2. Mark Ellis was 1 for 4.
