Detroit electrify's the A's

The game in Detroit was delayed by a thunderstorm in the area. In fact, lightning struck the lights above the scoreboard. Detroit generated their own electricity on the field with their bats pounding out 13 hits and scoring 10 runs to beat the visiting A's 10 to 2 Saturday night. The A's continue to struggle and Mark Ellis was 0 for 4 with two strike outs.
