Yankees score three in the ninth to lose 8 to 4

Justin Duchscherer throw seven innings allowing one run and one walk beating the visiting New York Yankees 8 to 4 on Wednesday night. The A's scored six runs in the third inning alone. The Yankees made the score look better than it was by tallying three meaningless runs in the top of ninth. Oakland A's second baseman Mark Ellis was 1 for 3 with a run scored an rbi and a walk.
