A's Harden sharp in victory

The Oakland A's Rich Harden pitched eight innings giving up two hits and striking out 11 against the Philadelphia Phillies on Thursday night. Harden's era is 2.15 on the season. Oakland A's manager Bob Geren on Harden's night, ''I can't think of a more dominating performance than that one. When he's on, he's almost un-hittable.'' The A's took 2 of 3 from the Phillies in the series.
Second Bagger Mark Ellis was 0 for 3 with a run scored and a walk. Ellis has been in a slump since going 3 for 5 and getting ejected on Sunday.
