Hitless Dodgers win
For only the 5th time in Major League Baseball history a team held hitless for the game still gets the victory. That's what happened Saturday night between the Los Angeles Angels and Los Angeles Dodgers. Angel pitchers Jered Weaver and Jose Arredondo combined to keep the Dodgers hitless in the game. The Dodgers scored a run in the fifth inning on a pair of errors by the Angels. Dodger pitchers Chad Billingsley, Jon Broxton, and Takashi Saito combined for an Angel shutout.
