A's beat by Bedard
Mariners pitcher Erik Bedard was dominate on the mound against the A's Saturday night in Seattle. Coming off a three week hiatus from a hip injury, Bedard didn't seem to miss a beat and looked more like the Ace pitcher the Mariners want him to be. Bedard allowed no runs on two hits in 6 2/3 innings. Seattle beat Oakland 5 to 3. Mark Ellis was 0 for 4 with a walk and two strike outs.
